Prosecco DOC Frizzante

Sometimes you prefer a gentle tickle.

Prosecco Doc Frizzante is like that. It is made with a Charmat method, just like Prosecco Doc, but its second fermentation is shorter: around 6 to 7 weeks, to reach a 2,5 bar pressure.

You will feel the mineral influence of Caranto soil.

“Caranto” sounds like a magic spell, but looks like a compact layer of ancestral soil. It is a maritime clay stratification with calcareous nodules, which started forming in the Pleistocene era (don’t try to count back, it was between 11 thousand and 2,5 million years ago). Caranto, pleistocene origin
Light straw yellow
Fresh, fruity with hints of Golden apple and white flowers
Fruity and fragrant, palatable; fine and elegant in the mouth with a direct and clean flavour and good persistence
Perfect as an aperitif wine, it works well also alongside the main entrée. Try it in pairing with delicate starters. Perfect match with both traditional herbs- and fish-based pasta or rice dishes, as well as with ethnic cuisine.
